There is enough food in the world for everyone, but still one in eight people go hungry. We can change this.

On Saturday 8th June, thousands of people will gather in Hyde Park for #BigIFLondon to demand David Cameron & G8 leaders tackle hunger. The free event will see inspiring speakers, artists, celebrity supporters and the public come together to call for an end to the silent scandal of hunger.

Everyone at the event will be asked to help create a huge visual petition to demonstrate the scale of public support for the Enough Food IF campaign. The petition will be made up of two million petals representing the two million children who die because of hunger each year – lives that can be saved if world leaders take action at the G8.

On the same day as #BigIFLondon, David Cameron and the UK Government will host a Nutrition Summit in London. IF enough people come together in Hyde Park to create a big noise about hunger, G8 leaders will have to sit up and listen.

#BigIFLondon will kick off IF's 10-day campaign in the lead up to the G8 summit in Northern Ireland. The IF campaign is calling on G8 leaders to tackle the long term causes of hunger and end this silent scandal.
