Kili Live are thrilled to announce that US comic and actor Aziz Ansari has confirmed his biggest UK show to date at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on 15th June. The show ‘Buried Alive’ promises an evening of bewilderment and disillusion, and is fresh off the back of a successful US tour which ends on May 31st. This will be his first UK performance since his five sidesplitting gigs at London’s Soho Theatre over two years ago.

Aziz Ansari has quickly established his presence in the comedy world. He is currently starring in a popular Emmy nominated television series ‘Parks & Recreation’ opposite Amy Poehler. The Hollywood Reporter said that he “has become one of the most prolific writers and performers on the comedy scene in recent years” and Rolling Stone placed him on the cover of a special comedy issue labeling him “the funniest man under 30.”

Ansari is also keeping busy in the film world. He’ll next voice a character in the Twentieth Century Fox animated film ‘Epic’ and soon will be seen in ‘This is the End’ opposite Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill and James Franco. Additionally, he appeared in Universal’s ‘Funny People’. Other film credits include ‘Get Him to the Greek’ alongside Russell Brand, Jonah Hill and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. He’s also had roles in the hit comedies ‘I Love You, Man,’ ‘Observe and Report’, and voiced a character in the Twentieth Century Fox animated film ‘Ice Age: Continental Drift’.

He has also become a regular on the late night circuit with memorable appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” He recently released his second hour-long standup special, “Dangerously Delicious”.

Ansari first came to audiences’ attention on MTV’s hit sketch comedy series, “Human Giant.” He also had a very memorable guest-starring role on HBO’s “Flight of the Conchords,” in which he portrayed a racist fruit vendor and was seen in a multi-episode arc on “Scrubs.”
