Nine Ways to Caress a Woman - Ahmed Dickinson and Jamie Nichols

The UK premiere of Nine Ways to Caress a Woman will take place on 14th June at Bolivar Hall in London W1. Cuban guitarist Ahmed Dickinson will perform this evocative work by Enrique González Medina accompanied by actor Jamie Nicols who will read nine short poems by José Cruz González alongside the music. Jamie is a rising star of stage and TV and is currently appearing in Gutted at Stratford East.

Ahmed Dickinson is a highly accomplished classically trained guitarist who has performed at numerous festivals including among others, The London Classical Guitar Festival, Bolivar Hall International Guitar Festival, Bath International Guitar Festival, City of London Festival, Ards Guitar Festival (Northern Ireland), and abroad at the Hispano-American Guitar Festival (Mexico) and Dublin Guitar Week (Ireland).

He has released five albums – one solo, and four others in collaboration with soprano Laura Mitchell; violinist Ben Wragg; the Santiago String Quartet; and the percussionist Hammadi Rencurrel Valdes together with violinist Emma Blanco.

This is the first performance of the work in the UK.
