March for Mothers

March for Mothers is a 5km walk around Greenwich Park to improve maternal health for women in the world’s poorest communities.

News of a pregnancy should be a time of joy and celebration, but for women in poor countries, it is all too often a time of fear. Approximately 800 women die every day from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth.

This event is a 5km solidarity walk with mothers across the world that have to walk long distances to receive healthcare.

March for Mothers is for everyone: mums, dads, children, aunties, uncles, friends… So why not get together, prepare to put your best foot forward on 29th June and raise the profile of the poorest communities around the world and their struggle for better health.

The route is over easy ground, ideal for mums with pushchairs and mums-to-be. So please come and join us, even if you have your own bump on board. The 5km walk is suitable for all ages!
