Kickstarting the Tea Room's "Waste Not Want Not" June series of events. Part of the Appetite Food Festival.
All proceeds from this event will go to the food bank FareShare. Fighting hunger, tackling food waste.
See orphaned ingredients transformed into dishes both beautiful and delicious at the William Morris Tea Room.
In the UK we needlessly throw away around 1/3 of our food. Come and celebrate these unloved but essential ingredients in an innovative 3-course cold shoulder to everything wasteful.
It won't stop with the food. Dine in a waste paradise of re-purposed objects and haunting tunes. All under the stars in this glass-roofed extension to the William Morris Gallery.
With guest speaker Chris Ajayi of FareShare on hand to talk about the vital work of the food bank, plus the need to reduce waste in industry and at home.
Ticket price includes a 3-course meal, welcome drink and short talk
Other drinks will be available to buy on the night
