Chaos Theory are in the mood for post-rock, post-metal, shoegaze and riffs, so here you are. The Miller has also been revamped, so come and check out the new stage, it's awesome!
Tacoma Narrows Bridge Disaster:
Progressive band gathering influences from metal, rock, post rock and shoegaze to create a rich collection of riff-led songs that never fail to capture the imagination. Their album 'Exegesis' is phenomenal.
"One of my albums of the year". The Sludgelord
"Copious amounts of attitude that resonates musically". Sea Of Tranquility
"A cut above the other post-it note acts I've reviewed". Metal Storm
Eschar:
When this Guildford-based band first used to appear on London stages, they always ended up being the audience's surprise favourites every time. Creating huge sprawling riffs and beautiful melodies, these boys are incredibly tight. Their music remains melodic and sensitive, but the vastness of it all will blow you away.
"Soundscapes rich with tension and urgency". This Is Not A Scene
bandcalledMAC:
Energetic math rock with a DIY punk aesthetic from Brighton. Fun and playful but with plenty of drive powered by two guitars and drums. These boys know how to have a great time on stage while appealing to post-rock and math rock crowds alike.
Abandon:
A beautiful and ambient band from Reading, whose melodies will completely soothe you while allowing you to sink into the dense wall of guitars. Haunting, ominous and glorious. With three releases out on Blindsight Records, and another one on the way, it's high time to catch this band while you can.
