The Silent Revolution - Piano Demonstration and Recital

Following the success of Hanna Pianos’ exhibition of the Yamaha Silent Piano range at Barclays bank, we will be hosting another exciting event so that the public can experience this new range of pianos. Bert Smorenburg, Yamaha’s international product demonstrator and product specialist, will give a highly informative and entertaining talk about the pianos and give a brief recital. Following this, guests will be able experiment on all the pianos themselves. Experts from Yamaha will also be on hand to assist and inform customers about the pianos and provide invaluable hints and tips on how to enjoy the full Silent Piano experience that offers practical benefits for music making, using headphones. The new models offer a seamless transition from acoustic 'live' playing to private and silent practice and rehearsal, using pioneering binaural sampling techniques to create a 3D aural sensation that gives the player on headphones a 'real' playing experience using the sound of Yamaha’s flagship CFX concert grand piano, combined with a groundbreaking new non-contact key sensor system.
