Gran Asado Argentino

Come and join us at our annual Gran Asado Argentino and enjoy a taste of Argentina. This year’s Asado is set to be the biggest yet and will include a traditional Argentine Barbeque as well as a day of entertainment, including live music, Tango dancers and singers, a football tournament – with teams including The Anglo-Argentine Society (current cup holders), The Hurucan FC London, The Anglo-Portuguese Society and the Anglo-Brazilian Society. great fun and our Grand Raffle.

The day includes: A traditional Asado menu including delicious Argentine barbecued beef, spit-roasted lamb, Argentine recipe chorizos (served as the traditional Chori-pan) and Morcilla (black pudding), barbeque Chicken,  a variety of salads, fruit and coffee.

Also available to purchase on the day will be a cantina selling a selection of fine Argentine wines, Quilmes beer and soft drink and stalls with a range of Argentine products including favorites such as alfajores, empanadas, dulce de leche, and ice cream.
