Part of the REVOLUTIONS Season staged by East 15's MA Acting
Written by Caryl Churchill Directed by Abbey Wright
The play explores the excitement of people taking over their own lives having severed the King’s head from his shoulders in England 1649. They had fought the King’s men, some killing their own brothers and fathers on the battlefields of England. But far from the equality and bounty promised, they were ignored, belittled and ultimately betrayed by the government they had helped install.
