Sex, scandal and showbiz in 1940s London.

Miss Nightingale - the burlesque musical is an hilarious and heart-warming love story with a twist, set against the backdrop of WWII London.

Featuring a fabulous six-piece on-stage band of actor-musicians, the show follows Maggie Brown as she becomes West End cabaret star Miss Nightingale, with the help of her gay, Jewish songwriter George and wealthy nightclub owner Sir Frank.

Staring burlesque bombshell Amber Topaz as 'Miss Nightingale', the show is a collision of wartime struggle, the racy world of 1940's cabaret and the social prejudices of the era, highlighted through the touching illicit romance between Sir Frank and George.

The show has received rave reviews from both critics and audiences at all points on the tour so far and is a real must see if you want to be entertained by an energetic, funny and fabulous show which also succeeds at tackling difficult issues with sensitivity and understanding.

"Blitzy, wartime, blackout romance of gin, gents and garter belts... The songs are terrific." The Times

“This is a gorgeous, glamorous, hugely entertaining show that simply revels in its setting and atmosphere. It exudes the look, the feel and the sounds of the 1940s... This is a show with a heart. It’s not all song and dance but is a rich examination of people living each day as if it were their last... In short, this is a proper play, a play with music.” East Anglian Daily Times

“A wonderfully crafted production full of innuendo and double entendres yet rich in tenderness, powerfully emotive issues and ultimate betrayal... A dynamic and insightful observation of 1940’s London and a musical gem. A show not to be missed.” Remote Goat

"Amber Topaz plays the heroine with great panache proving both sexy and touching." Daily Telegraph
