Asia House is bringing the spice to London, with an amazing feast of delicious, authentic Indian food. This social meal is mouth-watering, and fun!

You'll start with a welcome drink of gin & tonic. But this isn't any normal cocktail! The gin is inspired by a Victorian recipe, and the spirit is infused with its organic botanicals in a 20-litre glass jar for 18 hours before bottling. Created by Ross William Butler on his speedboat while docked in London Docklands, Butler’s Gin cites coriander, cloves, star anise, fennel, lemongrass, cardamom, lemon and lime amongst its botanicals.

Your starters are amazing: Beef Momo steamed Darjeeling dumplings are absolutely delicious, and made in a traditional Nepali steamer. The vegetarian option is vegetarian Momo. You'll also enjoy Calcutta chicken kati roll, which is a wrap with a layer of egg, thinly sliced red onions and kabab doused with lemon juice and spices. Here the vegetarian option is a Kala Channa Kofta Roll. Finally, there's mouth-watering Keema Samosa, with a vegetarian option of Paneer Samosa. Accompanying all these are lemon rice; basmati rice with curry leaves, mustard seeds and cashew nuts; and Baigan ka Bharta smoked puréed aubergine; Hyderabadi Dal Tangy Tamarind lentils; and cucumber raita with roasted crushed cumin seeds.

Your main dishes are equally delicious. Prawn Malai curry prawns are cooked in a delicate turmeric and coconut milk base. The vegetarian option is Paneer Malai curry. Khare Masale ka Gosht is lamb slow-cooked with whole garam masala. The vegetarian option is spiced cauliflower Bhajji. Bhopali Achaar chicken is a unique dish that originated in the Palace of Bhopal. The chicken is marinated in yogurt and then cooked with green chillies and panch poran, the five-seed spice of Eastern India. The vegetarian option is Aloo Dam with panch poran.

After your meal, you'll enjoy hyderabadi Khoobani ka Meetha Stewed Hunza Apricots. It's an authentic dessert with apricot purée. There's also fruit Chaat, which are fresh fruits marinated in Himalayan rock salt, with lime juice and brown sugar. And throughout your meal you'll have two cocktails, as well as first flush Darjeeling tea. And, you can also bring your own drinks! It's an amazing opportunity to taste some of the most unique and delicious dishes from India.
