Art Exhibition in Bermondsey

Sink Art is Bermondsey's most exciting new art project: a pop-up contemporary art space to promote the work of new and experienced artists alike. We are happy to announce our first month long exhibition in August this year. The theme will be as follows:

An exhibition examining the relationship between the aesthetic of a contemporary urban environment and personal image: 'BENEATH THE STREETLIGHT' explores how individual values co-exist with the trends and fashions that make up city-living and architecture. At its centre is the constant juxtaposition of the mundane and the beautiful encapsulated in every day experience, drawing on aspects of architecture, individual values, personal image and contemporary city living.

We will be exhibiting a stones throw from the White Cube and the Fashion and Textiles Museum at the gallery of Kerry Taylor Auctions; renowned vintage fashion and textiles auction house in Bermondsey (www.kerrytaylorauctions.com)
