Come and find out about the royal burials at Ur from the third millennium BCE! A variety of activities will be on offer, including creating head-dresses & helmets like those found in the royal burials, learning how to play the ancient Mesopotamian board-game the 'Royal Game of Ur', designing our own board-games, and finding out about the lives of the people buried in these tombs, as well as beginners’ cuneiform!
Suitable for 4-14 year olds, but all ages are welcome to join in. Stay for the whole afternoon, or drop-in when you like.
