London's hottest new live soul night is back for another run of storming Motown shows in Camden

London Soul and Fiddlers Elbow are proud to once again present the ultimate Friday soul fix. Join us on selected 1st Fridays for a unique soul experience. Join us for The Motown Jam.

Each month we will be joined by our house band, The Motor City Revue as they play classic Motown, Soul and Stax like it used to be played. Jamming out some the the best music ever put to vinyl in a way that only a 10 piece band can.

The live music kicks off at 9.30pm and we'll have Dj's keeping you all souled up before and after. Its £7 on the door but just £5 with our advanced guest list. Just send your name [email protected] with "Motown Jam" as the subject.

Motor City Revue play soul, Motown, northern soul and Stax with all the passion and energy it deserves. A 10-strong group of passionate soul-philes, they came together out of a shared love of all things 60s, and just want to share that love. Belting out some of the greatest tunes ever written, their renditions are punctuated by horns, tambourine, bouncing bass and stomping drums. They are regulars on the London soul scene, having played monthly residencies in Camden, Whitechapel and Stepney. Their enthusiasm is infectious - if you don't dance to this, you ain't got soul.
