Contemporanea presents: Choro in Roda

Choro in Roda is organized by Alua Nascimento, a Brazilian percussionist and vibraphonist based in London who has teamed up with some of the UK's best instrumentalists to celebrate one year of Choro in Roda - London 2013. Choro is a traditional instrumental music from Brazil. This music style is generally played in circle (roda) and often has a fast and energetic rhythm, characterized by virtuosity and improvisation.
