Join us for another 40s-inspired evening as part of Battle of Britain Weekend. Our Wings restaurant will be open and serving a menu inspired by an original dinner held in 1965. We’ll be having a swing dance display to 40s music in front of the Lancaster and you can dress up in RAF uniform and have your photo taken. Attend our fascinating lecture and reserve a place at our ‘Learn How to Do 40s Hair and Make-Up’ class (girls only!). Watch unseen footage from the film Battle of Britain on the big screens and enjoy a glass of wine at our late night bar. Guests are encouraged to wear 40s inspired clothing to add to the atmosphere of what will be a truly fantastic night.

The event is FREE to attend but there is a £10 charge for the hair and make-up class. Pre-booking is required for the Hair and Make-up Class as there are only 30 spaces. The class runs from 1915 to 2015.

You will need to bring your own collection of make-up as we will use what you have to create the look so that you can re-create it easily after the class! You should also bring your own hairbrush and comb with you. You can attempt to do your own hair and make up during the class, bring a friend and re-create the look on each other or simply try and re-create the looks after the class for other events
