The t-shirt is the most ubiquitous form of art & communication and T-Shirt Stories is a documentary that covers the world over as personalities weigh in on their respective thoughts on the humble clothing item.
American Apparel founder Dov Charney, Earsnot, Tony Alva, Mark the Cobrasnake and VERBAL all make appearances amongst an eclectic group of creatives. Showing for the first time in Britain, the screening includes a special introduction by directors Dimitri Pailhe and Julien Potart.
Also on the night, award-winning poet/playwright, Inua Ellams, will perform excerpts from his critically acclaimed play ‘Black T-shirt Collection’ ahead of its Edinburgh Festival debut - a tale of how the global t-shirt industry affects the lives of two foster brothers in the heart of Nigeria. After party with: The Large, DJ Sid Mercutio, Dj Top Rock
