Campfire presents... 2013 Summer Cookout

ditto’s monthly Campfires are an opportunity for us to cast a different light on the day job and invite our friends and family to play in the Lighthouse studio. They offer a chance to revel in everything that a city as culturally rich as London has to offer.
Wimbledon’s come and gone and we’ve just finished washing this year’s Lovebox and Secret Garden Party out of our hair. That means there’s only one more thing left to do to crown off another magnificent summer in London, and that’s to get down to ditto’s Lighthouse studio on the 15th of August for our annual summer cookout.

So get yourself ready for an evening packed with delicious barbecue, cool, refreshing cocktails (it’ll be Pimms o’clock all night long) and the finest collection of funk, soul, rock and reggae tunes courtesy of ditto’s resident DJ.

We’d advise you to bring your ‘A’ game as well, because there’s sure to be a healthy competitive vibe to the night. As we’re always looking for new ways to entertain our friends and family, we’ll have ping pong tables and swing ball set up. Who will be crowned champion? We’ve got no idea, but the glory is there for the taking!

This month’s ditto doors gallery will host an exhibition by Adam Martinakis, a media artist who has been working and experimenting with computer generated visual media since 2000.

Adam’s work has been exhibited across Europe and the US, in galleries in Athens, Luxembourg and Connecticut, as well as featuring in magazines including dfacto, krutayatema, FV Magazine, Sound Colour Vibration, ikeypose and afterglowart.

His awards include the 2013 Stellar Art Award, Artlimited’s Silver Award, the 2012 Excellence Abstract & Design award at EXPOSÉ 10 and the 2011 Dabomba Silver Award.
