Humble Grape, an independent wine merchant and tasting event company, offer one of the most personal and enlightening boutique wine tastings in London. This month they're focusing on distinct and delicious wines from the world's most prominent wine regions to find out what distinguishes them. They've prepared a fun and informative wine tasting with amazing wines and delicious food at a beautiful venue on Broken Wharf.

Pedology is the study of the Earth's skin, and by looking at wine terroirs from around the world, you can find out why certain wines smell and taste the way they do. The old cliché of New World versus Old World is really an oversimplification, but comparing a Margaret River Chardonnay from Australia to a Meursault from the Cote d'Or in Burgundy, France is an interesting exercise that will at least yield two fantastic glasses, if not scientific results. What impact can the mesoclimate of a particular vineyard have on the Chardonnay grape? Has evolution in the vineyards shaped the success and proliferation of certain grape varieties? You'll answer all these questions in this fantastic London wine tasting!

Join us for an exploration of different soil types, grape varieties and climates. You'll also learn more about the important wine regions of the world. Along with your tasting of six incredible wines, you'll enjoy a selection of delicious cheese, Iberico Jamon, chorizo, marcona almonds, olives, artisan bread, and exquisitely aromatic olive oil from Salamanca, Spain.

Humble Grape go out of their way to make sure each guest is wined-well and satisfied. But they won't need to do much to convince you, because these fantastic wines speak for themselves!
