Dr Meaker are one of Bristol's prize assets. Many have been won over by their mind blowing live performances, tight production, quality writing and their ability to effortlessly mix Soul with Bass Music.

Dr Meaker in 2012 released three singles ‘Music In The Night’ and ‘Fighter’ which were both on the legendary drum and bass label V Recordings and ‘Shak Out’ released on Sludge Records. ‘Music In The Night’ and ‘Fighter’ together have over a million hits on youtube and were playlisted on BBC Radio

1Xtra. The live act were asked by Trevor Nelson to perform a Maida Vale ‘Live Lounge’ version of ‘Fighter’ and the band also covered Adele’s ‘Skyfall’ which he described as a ‘Uniquely Bristol’ sound.

This summer has seen them playing a European festival tour, a highlight being Glastonbury Festival on the ‘Silver Hayes’ stage and Czech Republic’s ‘Colors Of Ostrava’ Festival.
