Southwark Arts Forum, a leading arts charity in south London, is hosting a series of evening events focussing on key social media platforms. The first event in our Social Media Programme will specifically focus on Facebook.

The event will offer plenty of practical advice and tips as well as detailing the range of tools that Facebook has for artists to promote their art or creative business. We will explore further than gaining followers, understanding how to make the most of Facebook to engage with your audience. By following the tips from the session hopefully you will see an increase in sales and brand awareness. The session will help you to gain knowledge of and understand how to work with Facebook Insights, a service that analyses your Facebook page statistics and monitors the success of your activity on Facebook. You should leave the workshop with a good understanding of how to use Facebook to market your art and business.

Attendees are welcome to bring their handheld devices – mobile phones, tablets etc, to engage with the content throughout the session and put the training straight into practice.

We conclude the workshop with time to network with fellow professionals across the creative industries.

This is the first in the series of 6 Social Media Programme events as part of Southwark Art Forum's commitment to support artists and creative professionals with their career development.

The session will be led by Tania Jackson, Owner of Red Idea Digital Marketing Agency and be held in partnership with Vibe Gallery.

Subject to availability, there may be a limited amount of tickets available to purchase on the door.
