Salon Adrienne

Adrienne is a trainee hairdresser at Ocean, Lavender Hill, and is itching to get her hands on your locks, tease your tendrils and, if you're lucky, fondle your follicles. She will also give you a genuine Indian head massage. Without the aid of soft focus, she will encourage you take a long hard look at yourself in the mirror and talk about what you see there. Adrienne is committed to the facilitation of an individual's personal growth, so will be available to perform on-site radical face-lifts with a pair of tweezers and some gaffa tape, at no additional cost.

(Because Adrienne is not yet fully qualified, she will NOT be cutting any actual hair!)

This performance does not take place at Battersea Arts Centre. Please book your ticket through our box office or online, but arrive for your appointment at Ocean Hair Salon, 289 Lavender Hill, Clapham Junction, where your ticket will be held. The salon is about a 10 minute walk from Battersea Arts Centre.

Battersea Arts Centre has had a long history of working with Adrian Howells. To celebrate our ongoing relationship with Adrian and our interest in intimate 1-on-1 performance, we are presenting two of his pieces this season.

Salon Adrienne was commissioned for our Octoberfest Festival in 2005 and is performed in a local, working hairdressing salon.
