Zoe started singing jazz while living and working in New York and soon became a regular fixture on the scene, often sitting in with the late Harry Whitaker and his trio at Arturo’s down in the Village as well as working with many other musicians including Harry Allen, Warren Vache, Joe Cohn and Chris Flory. Her first album "Looking for a Boy" has just been released providing a great showcase for her beautiful voice. Singing a really lovely selection of standards (some well known others less so), with a great sense of swing and a natural ability, Zoe’s gigs are just great. A classic jazz star in the making. Also featured this evening will be one of the UK’s iconic musicians, guitarist Jim Mullen. A brilliant combination and one well worth catching!
“...she delivers with cool but affecting aplomb, her diction perfect, her range impressive...a classy, poised singer who respects her material enough to deliver it straight and true” LondonJazz
