Voice Workshop

Harmony Squared Workshops provide the ideal fun and supportive environment in which to discover the full potential of your own voice. A grid is laid on the floor of the workshop space, upon which the participants move, as they follow a set of rules which creates music. The Grid itself can take many forms, but it is fundamentally a giant score on which the musical structure is drawn, with the participants and performers themselves as the notes.

With five years of experience in using the grid in their workshops, Harmony Squared directors Frances M Lynch and Jo McNally are turning to the corporate world. When the whole office staff of a company is taken out of their swivel chairs and put onto the grid, Frances and Jo are confident they can bring newfound energy, motivation and creativity into play.

Just practicing when, how and what volume you should contribute your own voice to a group is a discipline that is invaluable to anyone who wants to increase their powers of speech. This unique musical game builds the confidence to speak up, while also developing the crucial ability to listen to the contributions of the rest of the group.
