Professor David Nutt was sacked in 2009 as the government’s chief drugs adviser after criticising its decision to reclassify cannabis. He is one of the world’s leading experts on the effects of drugs on the brain and the man who would like you to take magic mushrooms in the name of research. Join us as he talks about his life in science, his disputes with government over drug policy, and why MDMA is so much more than a party drug.

Plug in Your Brain talks are open to all and hosted by the Department of Psychology, University of Westminster. Doors open at 6.30pm (entry on a first-come, first-served basis) and talks start promptly at 6.45pm.
