Performance poetry: comedy’s boring cousin, right? Stand up: poetry’s idiot relation, yes? Let’s find out!

For the first time, the very best of London’s spoken word scenes go head-to-head as comedy and poetry collide with unpredictable and hilarious results.

After a fantastic, fully packed first two nights at The Comedy Cafe in September & October, CHATBACK COMEDY CLUB and Canterbury’s poet laureate DAN SIMPSON are proud to announce the next show in the London run of their brand new format show STAND UP & SLAM!

Six phenomenal acts from the worlds of comedy and poetry go face-to-face for your approval in three killer rounds of Stand Up Comedy Vs Performance Poetry.

The winners? Whoever the audience decide are really, truly the best art form of the night! Last month it was POETRY - Will the comedian battle back bravely!?
