After our highly successful and unique Remixed Speed Dating event earlier this year, we are pleased to announce another dating session.

Although we have invited our database of bands, producers and DJs who are keen to make new collaborations, anyone is welcome to join us – in fact we encourage people we have yet to make contact with to come along. Whether you are a band wanting to work with a DJ, or a producer looking for new music to remix this is the event for you - a chance to make beautiful music together!

‘Following the Speed Date event Mike Grove did a great remix for More Like Trees, which we are currently giving away as a free download from our Reverbnation page’ Tim Whitehouse

Based on the traditional Speed Date you will have 4 minutes to swap ideas with established musicians, producersremixers. If you like what you hear there will be the opportunity to catch up later in the bar. Remember to bring your calling cards! Last time it was inspiring and fun and we already have reports of successful partnerships and projects.

Seminars

In addition to the speed dating we are throwing our doors open to all musicians and producers to pop in and join us for a unique opportunity to mingle with industry professionals – it is a real opportunity to get tips on how to progress creatively as well as all the information you need on promoting your band, legal issues, funding, getting gigs, developing social media and more!

The day will include seminars on how to mix analogue and digital, sample law, DJ techniques, and one-on-one sessions with funding and grant organisations.
