The German sausage eatery, Herman ze German, has today announced a series of comedy shows taking place at their Old Compton Street home. Commencing on Monday 28th October for eight weeks, the very special ‘Work in Progress’ shows will see some of the finest talents in comedy test run their new material ahead of appearing on Channel 4 series 'Stand Up for the Week' show. Audiences of just 65 people will be able to laugh along to esteemed comedians and comediennes in the delightfully intimate setting of the Herman ze German basement. Acts confirmed include two of the best emerging talents on the circuit at the moment, Josh Widdicombe and Seann Walsh, along with established acts such as critically acclaimed Paul Chowdhry and the unmissable funny-man Simon Evans. Accompanying an evening of jokes and jibes will be a serving of scrumptious German food and beer which Herman ze German is known and loved for. Punters can dine on top quality wurst and meatballs washed down with refreshing and rare German beers.
