Celebrities Join Forces For Some Festive Fun In Aid Of Rainbow Trust

Tickets are now on sale for Rainbow Trust’s much-loved annual celebrity carol concert on 05 December 2013. Hosted at St Paul’s church in the heart of Knightsbridge the all ticket affair brings together big names from TV and film, in the shape of comedian Doon Mackichan, actor Nicholas Farrell and writer, actor and director, Danny Huston, as well as award winning illustrator, Jan Pienkoswki and noted bon viveur, and father of Boris, Stanley Johnson, for an evening of festive fun in aid of Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.

Nicholas Farrell is a familiar face from a variety of television series and films over the years and is currently filming Grace of Monaco with Nicole Kidman. Doon Mackichan was originally known for the hit show ‘Smack the Pony’ and has since starred in many other comedy shows, such as ITV2’s ‘Plebs’ and Channel 4’s ‘Toast of London’.

Danny, son of director John Huston and half-brother to Anjelica Huston, is well known for his film roles in Hitchcock, Robin Hood and The Constant Gardener. Illustrator Jan Pienkoswki is best known for his classic Meg and Mog illustrations and innovative pop-up books. Musical entertainment will be from West End star Aoibheann Greene, with further notable guests to be announced nearer to the time.

The charity, which supports families of children with a life threatening or terminal illness, wants people to join them on Thursday 05 December to welcome in the festive season. Christmas is one of the toughest times of the year for the families Rainbow Trust supports, as they try to make the festive celebrations as normal as possible, whilst dealing with the harsh realities of looking after a seriously ill child.

This special carol concert will raise funds for Rainbow Trust and is sponsored by Maskells Estate Agents. It will once again be supported by Cheam School Choir and concert goers are invited to soak up the atmosphere from 6:00pm with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.
