Rediscovering the Cheapside Hoard in the 21st Century

The Cheapside Hoard, a fabulous cache of Elizabethan and Jacobean jewellery, is currently the subject of a major exhibition at the Museum of London. In this talk, curator Hazel Forsyth explores how 21st technology can aid our understanding of this extraordinary collection, focusing particularly on gemmology, metallurgy and construction.
