Edoardo Catemario was born in Naples, Italy. He has won several international prizes, including the prestigious 'Andres Segovia' guitar competition in Granada, Spain. An extremely versatile guitarist, he has performed around the world, both in recital and as guest soloist with orchestras including the Wiener Akademie and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Edoardo Catemario has made many recordings for both Decca and EMI, which have received critical acclaim. He made his Wigmore Hall debut in 2012, and is currrently a guest professor at the Royal Academy of Music.
