More At The Hall: Classical Coffee Mornings

We have collaborated with our neighbours at the Royal College of Music for this exciting series of concerts. Classical Coffee Mornings give you the chance to listen to outstanding talent from the College at Sunday morning classical recitals in the Hall's Elgar Room. Tickets include a hot drink and a pastry. Seating is unreserved and cabaret style.

This saxophone quartet performs works by Francis Poulenc, Felix Mendelssohn, Astor Piazzolla and Richard Rodney Bennett. The Laefer Quartet formed in September 2012 at the Royal College of Music where they receive coaching from Kyle Horch and Martin Robertson. The quartet has a wide range of experience individually and enjoy performing together in a variety of styles from transcriptions to contemporary repertoire. They have performed in masterclasses with David Brutti and Gerard McChrystal and give recitals throughout the UK. Laefer is anglo saxon for reed (bulrush) and sheet metal.
