More At The Hall: Classical Coffee Mornings

We have collaborated with our neighbours at the Royal College of Music for this exciting series of concerts. Classical Coffee Mornings give you the chance to listen to outstanding talent from the College at Sunday morning classical recitals in the Hall's Elgar Room. Tickets include a hot drink and a pastry.

The Royal College of Music Junior Department Wind Octet comprises the section leaders of the RCMJD Symphony Orchestra, many of whom are also members of the National Youth Orchestra. They have explored octet repertoire by Malcolm Arnold, Beethoven, Dvorak, Jonathan Dove, Krommer and Mozart amongst others and perform regularly in Junior Department concerts along with chamber concerts outside of the college. In the past few years the Octet has featured in Senior RCM concerts, most recently for memorial concerts celebrating the life of former RCM professor and Wind Octet tutor Nicholas Hunka.
