On Wednesday 15th January Luke Bowman will play his headline show with support from Leo And The Seraphim, Carousel, Clay and Abby Holden at The Old Queen’s Head in Islington.

Hosted by HOT VOX at this renowned venue, these bands are on the lips of those at the hub London’s music scene.

Luke Bowman, the man at the centre of this formation of great artists. Combining elements of Rock, Indie, Blues and Psychedelic, this eclectically expressive band is fluid and free. Think Hendrix with hints of surf rock and worldly influences, to see Luke headline is sure to be a great performance.

Support comes from Leo And The Seraphim who are originally from London, but causing quite a buzz round town. To catch them perform in this rustic setting will certainly be something to remember, creating a not to be missed performance from a band set to go far and wide.

Next on the line up is Carousel, a band who ‘aim to capture the bittersweet nature of life’. They have a distinctly catchy tone to their songs - the skilled song writing is clear. Furthermore, the down-to-earth lyrics, melodies and gorgeous vocals are characteristic of greats such as Jack Peñate, but the energy behind the band (think Biffy Clyro live) is electric.

Clay have an acoustic vibe, but keep that epic sound right at the centre. With folk and country influences, they will certainly rock the room. Keep an eye on these guys too, as they are set for great things in 2014.

Finally Abby Holden opens the night who will captivate you with a dazzling performance.

One of the hottest line-ups you’ll find, make sure you don’t miss this night of London’s newest and greatest bands that are soon to be part of music history!
