Dom Pipkin live at Jump Jive and Shout a New Orleans inspirerd piano show

Dom Pipkin plays the boogie woogie piano at this month’s Jump Jive and Shout for the very first time. The hard working Dom Pipkin is hugely popular and performs with his own band and at various jazz and blues events in London and the UK, and as if that wasn’t enough Dom Pipkin can be found performing in New Orleans where he is well known, well liked and draws so much of his inspiration. Dom Pipkin is also musical director for the stunning Paloma Faith, so here at Jump Jive and Shout we consider ourselves fortunate that Mr Pipkin has at long last become available. Except an energetic show filled with the flavour of early New Orleans boogie woogie, honky tonk and blues.

With dj Jeniffer Jackson spinning some of the very best in pulsating energy driven doo wop, jump jive, boogie woogie, rhythm and blues and blues shouters this is one Saturday night you will not want to miss.
