To migrate or hibernate, that is the question. Meet hedgehogs (15 & 16 February only) – everyone’s favourite garden mammal - and discover why they choose to go to sleep all winter. As they’re nocturnal this is a rare opportunity to see them up close. And then learn why some birds leave the country during winter to survive. Join in our sand martin challenge to find out what obstacles these tiny birds face on their return journey from Africa. Will you arrive safely at your destination like our sand martins at London Wetland Centre?
