A beautiful gothic story told with live magic and original music, underneath Waterloo Station.
___
Combining magic, new writing and an original soundtrack in a reworking of the classic gothic ballad Lenore, Spark tells the beautiful yet surreal story of an increasingly strange elopement. When Leo's long-absent lover returns from conflict, the pair immediately take the opportunity to run away together - but the further they go, the more it becomes clear that Leo is the subject of a very sinister trick.
An exploration of love, loneliness and deceit, performed in the aptly eerie setting of Waterloo's underground tunnels, Spark makes for a unique evening of entertainment.

Praise for the writer/director's previous work:
✮✮✮✮ ‘Unconditional has an easy time keeping the audience captivated […] the script manages to play with subtle humour one minute and the rawest of emotions the next […] it is the kind of play that lingers with you long after you leave the theatre.’ – TCS
✮✮✮✮ ‘The opening’s impressive, well-observed scene of domestic ordinariness and familiarity made the later more dramatic turn of events all the more difficult to watch […] taut and probing.’ - Varsity
