THE FLAMENCO TRAIL-FROM THE MIDDLE EAST TO SPAIN

Ramon Ruiz and Anita la Maltesa are returning to St Ethelburga's by popular demand with an evening of blazing flamenco song and dance mixed with Middle Eastern and contemporary sounds.
Joined by oud maestro Attab Haddad and percussionist Antonio Romero.

Flamenco developed out of a fusion of music and dance from the Andalucian region of Spain with its roots in East India and Arabic music. The evocative sound of the flamenco guitar, oud and percussion together with Anita's dance and song will give us a true retrospective journey through the mélange of styles which make up flamenco.

Food and drinks available.
