The Folio Prize Fiction Festival

In anticipation of the announcement of the first winner of The Folio Prize, a major new award for international fiction sponsored by The Folio Society, the British Library will host a new two-day fiction festival featuring some of world’s finest writers and critics drawn from The Folio Prize Academy. The inaugural programme will include appearances from the shortlisted authors as well as members of the judging panel, and will stage lively conversations which reflect the diversity of contemporary fiction writing and storytelling across the globe.

Confirmed participants include A S Byatt, Michael Chabon, Sebastian Faulks, Lavinia Greenlaw, Sarah Hall, Nam Le, Pankaj Mishra and Ali Smith, with many others soon to be announced.
