Actress and singer Lowri-Ann Richards performs a hilarious romp through the early 80s with a no-holds barred show about the New Romantic era, which Includes songs, real archive pictures and X-rated anecdotes.

Whatever Happened to LaLa Shockette charts the rise to fame of 80s pop star LaLa Shockette from her emergence as a Blitz kid in the burgeoning New Romantic scene to performing on stadium tours with internationally reknowned bands. The 90-minute show includes great songs from the era as well as never seen before photos of Gary Numan, Spandau Ballet, Adam Ant and even Joan Collins. It's a story that Lowri-Ann Richards knows well, because she was there and she lived it.
LaLa Shockette helped form pop group Shock and was on Top of the Pops practically every week, and performed with Visage, Gary Numan, Boy George, Duran Duran, and Spandau Ballet at Wembley stadium shows and on world tours.

LaLa talks candidly and with great humour about flings with rock-stars – complete with amazing photos from the time flashed up on a big screen – and she doesn’t spare any details about indiscretions with her famous lovers. It’s a bitter sweet tale which will have you laughing and crying.
