The Strictly lead vocalist, often spotlighted in the show and frequently name-checked, has a voice familiar worldwide from his work with the likes of Tina Turner, Brand New Heavies and Joe Cocker, as well as TV ads such as Coca Cola, Levis and British Airways plus innumerable film soundtracks – Tommy is currently the most sought after singer in the business. The artist cites Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke and Louis Armstrong as his big influences.

Originally from Liverpool, Tommy has toured and recorded with a huge number of major artists, including Brian Eno, Paul Young, Incognito, Sting, Phil Collins, Beach Boys, Sir George Martin, Natalie Cole, Eternal, Take That, Stevie Wonder, Queen, Amy Winehouse, The Streets, Robbie Williams, Alexander O'Neil, Diana Ross, Pet Shop Boys and Basement Jaxx.
