Jessie Pie & The Thorn's 'Cabaret Americana'

A weekly fest of musical theatrics, flamboyant satire and soulful offerings from this charismatic three-piece band fronted by Jessie Pie.

Jessie Pie & The Thorn, comprising vocals (Jessie Pie), guitar (Chris Thorn) and also drums, will entertain you with "Cabaret Americana": a rootsy, music-hall inspired mix of jazz, rock, Russian folk and original music. Lots of jolly humour and sexy angst go into this bombastic stage event, guaranteeing a night of rib-tickling, soul-churning, loin-busting entertainment.

Jessie Pie & The Thorn have been touring London and the UK for two years, playing numerous pub gigs and cabaret events such as "The Komedia" in Bath and "The Lowry" in Manchester, to rave reviews.

The event will take place on Thursday January 30th, 2014. It will be a weekly event for the duration of the month to follow, ie, Thursday 13th Feb., 20th Feb., 27th Feb., and possibly beyond.
