The Xavier Project

Two investigators, Paul and Karen, take on the uncompleted project of Paul’s deceased former French teacher about a man called Xavier, who speaks a unique and mysterious language. But Xavier has vanished.

With little to go on apart from an address and the name of his pet dog, they head to Gravesend and Tilbury Power Station in search of clues, interviewing people who might have known him. However they also come face to face with demons from their own past.

Mixing documentary film and theatre, The Xavier Project deals with how language forms our identity, and how we choose to shape our past.
