Valentine's Chocolate Week

Mischievous Uncle Barts is always bending the rules and traditions, smuggling in some kind of taboo treat or tipple for his guests, and, this year, he has decided that indulging in your loved one for the day is simply not enough of a celebration for Valentines. A single rose and just one box of chocolates, will no longer cut it. Instead, Uncle Barts will be running a week-long series of events, dedicated to so many people’s achilles heel and guilty pleasure, chocolate.

Head Bartender and AGM, Vincenzo Sibilia, will also be creating a number of love potions and alcoholic aphrodisiacs such as the limited edition, signature cocktail of the week, The Forbidden love. Made with a heady blend of Havana 7 infused with chocolate butter, cherry Juice, fresh pear, sugar and lemon juice the cocktail will have a rich, and luxurious chocolate flavour with a cheeky cherry after taste.

The week will begin with a launch party on the Thursday 6th February, where there will be chocolate fountains galore accompanied by a selection of Valentine’s themed treats for dipping such as strawberries, brownies and fudge. There will also be chocolate face painting, cupid style fancy dress and the unveiling of Barts home brewed and hand made rum filled chocolates, that will be served along side each of their signature chocolate week cocktails, one of which will be a romantic sharer cocktail for two – served in a giant teapot – 'The Chocolate Tea Party'.
