Time for a spring clean? Don't just chuck the clothes, books and DVDs you're bored of - bring them to the BIG Swap and exchange them for exciting (nearly) new things. The more you bring to swap, the more you can get. Plus there will be a lunchtime cooking demo as part of the weekly London Bridge Farmers Market onsite.
Pick up a bargain (free stuff!), refresh your wardrobe, find a new read or do some re-gifting. The ultimate in guilt-free consumption, the swap-shop extravaganza will leave you feeling positively virtuous about carting out armfuls of new stuff.
Not only will you be refreshing your wardrobe and saving your old things from landfill, you'll be reducing the use of new materials. The day's swishing will run from 12pm-2pm and when the items are gone, they're gone so don't miss out!
Top tips for a successful swap:
Bring a good selection of high-quality, excellent condition items that you no longer use, rather than bits that are too tatty for you or anybody to want anymore!
Get there early to see what's on offer - there's only 2 hours of swapping so you'll need to be eagle-eyed
Be patient - there might be an amazing find just around the corner
