Pop-up Opera is an innovative touring opera company dedicated to making opera enjoyable and inviting, without losing the quality of musical performance. They aim to broaden the appeal of opera and to challenge the way opera is performed, by taking it into unusual spaces and making it fun, fresh and intimate.

With its event at The Running Horse in Mayfair, this is the perfect way to witness exciting new operatic talent outside of the traditional theatres. Now tastefully decorated with notes of it’s former charm in the wood paneled walls, rustic tables and low slung sofas, it is run by Dominic Jacobs and James Chase of Chase Distillery. Their mouthwatering menu made from high-quality British produce, and Chase vodka and gin on offer behind the bar, this is the perfect setting for a cosy, relaxed operatic experience.
