An eclectic collection of world class adventurers are gathering for one night only to share their experiences of adventure with a live audience.
An exciting, sell out event with speakers including Maria Leijerstam, who recently became the first person to cycle from the edge of the Antarctic continent to the South Pole, and editor of Wanderlust travel magazine, Phoebe Smith. Other speakers range from ocean rowers to polar explorers, and sailors to mountaineers. Each speaker is restricted to a time limited 20 slides, so the pace is fast and furious. The aim of the event is not only to celebrate the spirit of adventure but also to raise money for Hope and Homes for Children. The UK based charity works with willing governments, helping to get abandoned and orphaned children out of institutions and into loving families, so ‘Night of Adventure’ can’t think of a better charity to support.
