Green Man confirms latest Welsh artists for St David’s Day party in London.

Join Green Man for mesmeric magic, gripping stories, and fun and games galore as we celebrate all things Welsh at Hwyl – our unique St David’s Day party in London.

Incredible illusionists Zooka & Susie Q, top authors Rachel Trezise (Fresh Apples) and Joe Dunthorne (Submarine), and poet Mab Jones are the latest Welsh acts appearing at legendary folk venue Cecil Sharp House, Camden, on Saturday March 1st.

Also newly confirmed are traditional dancers Cadi Ha, Welsh literature from Dylan Thomas enthusiasts Dylan’s Book Bus, talented portrait artist Carl Chapple and trusty Green Man favourites Scrabble Sunday and Photo Booth.

Plus there’s live music from the superb BBC Radiophonic Workshop, Valleyers, The Gentle Good, 9 Bach and Pictish Trail, hands-on workshops in Welsh love spoons and hat-making, and a wicked range of Welsh ciders, ales and hearty grub.

Green Man founder Fiona Stewart says: “Hwyl is pronounced ‘hoyle’ and it’s a bit like the Irish having a ‘craic’, only more poetic and eccentric! It promises to be a party quite unlike any you’ve been to before – what else would you expect from Green Man?”
