Humble Grape has organised a wine tasting that's truly different. Designed for networking women, this evening event includes professional networking women's groups from around Europe, special guest speakers, and of course, some amazing wines and light, delicious food.
You'll start with a glass of bubbly on arrival whilst networking and relaxing in the beautiful tasting rooms overlooking the Thames and the South Bank. Then you'll have a short introduction to Humble Grape, and the changing role of women in the wine industry, followed by the guest speaker Helena Nicklin, blogger at Winebird. Next you'll welcome all the professional women's networks present on the night, including WILD, the European Professional Women Network (EPWN), and others.
Then it's time for wine. The tasting will focus on your emotional response to wine and how this can enhance the perception of wine aromas. The Humble Grape team will walk you through a tasting of six wines from different grapes, styles and regions, starting with lighter whites and reds and ending with more powerful wines that pair with food.
Along with the wine, you'll have some tasty light bites to accompany, including a selection of delicious cheese, jamón ibérico, chorizo, marcona almonds, olives, artisan bread, and exquisitely aromatic olive oil from Salamanca, Spain. This is going to be a special night, with amazing women, and wonderful wines.
