Tefal Ingenio Restaurant opens – London’s first pop up restaurant in a shop window.

The first ever pop-up restaurant in a shop window is coming to Oxford Street’s John Lewis this Pancake Day, hosted by Tefal, the non-stick cookware specialists.

The exclusive Ingenio Restaurant will be in Oxford Street John Lewis for two days only and will be serving specialty pancakes to mark Shrove Tuesday. Foodies can book by visiting www.tefalingenio.co.uk and lucky applicants will be able to reserve their spot at the chef’s table.

Tefal is hosting the event to celebrate Pancake Day and its Ingenio cookware range. On both days, Tefal will be serving free gourmet pancakes cooked in front of diners.

For 60 years, Tefal has helped to make perfect pancakes thanks to its trademark non-stick technology. With the Tefal Ingenio range, Tefal scientists have gone one step further in their innovation, creating cookware with removable handles for the most versatile dining experience.

Jennika Kalliala, senior product manager for high-end cookware at Tefal UK said: “Our aim at Tefal is to constantly surprise our customers with clever innovation. From our first non-stick pan 60 years ago, to creating cookware with removable handles to our pop-up restaurant on Oxford Street.”
